Server Management
Description: Managing the availability and uptime of not only physical servers but the services they provide the business is an increasingly critical IT function. Demands of managing the lifecycle of physical and virtual servers in the datacenter is often dramatically different from managing desktop computers. This track covers topics ranging from server provisioning, discovery and inventory, and monitoring of both physical and virtual servers. Prior to attending this track, you are strongly encouraged to review the Alliance track because many of our partners will be providing server-specific sessions directed toward managing their specific platforms.
