Altiris Champion AwardsThe Altiris Champion Awards (affectionately known as “The Mannys”) were introduced at ManageFusion Orlando and Vienna in 2006 as a way to recognize the Altiris champions you work with every day.
The Altiris Champion Awards recognize the hard-working, usually behind-the-scenes men and women who work to improve their organization's systems management structure by helping to align business objectives with IT services.
Anyone can nominate or be nominated for an Altiris Champion Award. The criteria by which winners will be selected include:
- Founded, participates and/or supports an Altiris user group in their area
- Has acted as a customer reference for Altiris either to other customers, the press, analysts, etc.
- Participates in the Altiris Feedback Forum and/or Customer Advisory Board or other Altiris feedback forums
- Has used Altiris technology or their Altiris knowledge to help a non-profit or educational organization
- Has written articles or blogs highlighting Altiris products and/or participated in a case study for Altiris
- Has been an active participant in beta programs and providing feedback on product direction
- Has had other potential customers visit their Altiris implementation
- Goes above and beyond typical workplace expectations and responsibilities to extend and promote systems management best practices
